Patients often have asked, ”How do I know if Dr. Tepp is the right psychologist for me or a family member?” It is always difficult to know ahead of time if any one doctor will be the right choice for any particular patient. And so it is reassuring to know two facts about Dr. Tepp’s practice. First he has seen over 5,000 patients and there has been almost no one that has ever had a negative outcome. Second, Dr. Tepp has seen the children, spouses, or immediate family members of more than 20 primary care physicians who regularly refer him patients and know his work. If these doctors, who know Dr. Tepp’s work and regularly refer him patients, trust him with their own children, we are confident that you will too.
Patients frequently want to know how long treatment might take. While determinations about the length of therapy, when recommended, are difficult to make, Dr. Tepp believes that targeted therapy with clear goals best describes his approach.
